Manuscript Review and Peer-Review Process
The Quarterly Journal of Advanced Materials and Technologies follows a clear and structured process to ensure the scientific quality of all submitted manuscripts. Each manuscript is carefully evaluated from the initial submission through peer review, revision, final acceptance, and publication.
1. Manuscript Submission
Once a manuscript is submitted by the authors, it is received through the journal’s online submission system and prepared for initial screening.
2. Initial Screening and Compliance Check
At this stage, the manuscript is checked for its relevance to the journal’s scope, overall structure, formatting, and compliance with the journal’s guidelines. If necessary, the manuscript will be returned to the authors for correction before proceeding to the next stage.
3. Editorial Evaluation
After the initial screening, the manuscript is evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief and/or Editorial Board. This evaluation focuses on the scientific quality, relevance to the journal’s scope, significance of the topic, and suitability for peer review.
4. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial evaluation are sent to qualified and independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The reviewers assess the scientific quality, originality, methodology, and overall contribution of the manuscript.
5. Evaluation of Reviewers’ Comments
After the peer-review process is completed, the reviewers’ comments and recommendations are carefully evaluated by the editorial team. Based on the review reports, the manuscript may be accepted, returned to the authors for revision, or require further evaluation.
6. Revision of the Manuscript
If revisions are required, the reviewers’ comments are provided to the authors. The authors should address the comments carefully, revise the manuscript accordingly, and submit the revised version together with a clear response to the reviewers’ comments.
7. Further Review and Re-evaluation
The revised manuscript is evaluated by the editor and, when necessary, sent back to the reviewers for further assessment. This process may be repeated until the scientific concerns have been adequately addressed and the manuscript meets the journal’s standards.
8. Final Acceptance
Once the manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review process and meets the journal’s scientific standards, it receives final acceptance and proceeds to the production stage.
9. Copyediting and Final Preparation
Accepted manuscripts undergo language and copyediting to improve clarity, consistency, and overall presentation. The manuscript is also checked and prepared according to the journal’s publication standards.
10. Typesetting
The edited manuscript is formatted and typeset according to the journal’s layout and publication standards, and the final version is prepared for publication.
11. Publication
After final approval, the article is published in the Quarterly Journal of Advanced Materials and Technologies and made available to the scientific community.
Our Commitment
The journal is committed to conducting the review and publication process with care, transparency, academic integrity, and respect for research ethics. Our goal is to provide a reliable platform for the publication and dissemination of high-quality research in the field of advanced materials and technologies.
