Abstract

Mechanical Alloying (MA) is a technique to produce Alloys and composite powders for high mechanical properties products. In recent years MA has attended to produce aluminum alloys with use of elementary powders. With MA technique we can produce fine particles with high work hardening and high strain energy because of its procedure .On of techniques that we can investigate the varieties of lattice behavior and crystal size is XRD. In this research with XRD and SEM we study the effect of Mechanical Alloying on powder size and lattice behavior of elementary powders of Al6061. Results show that with increasing of milling time, lattice parameter of Al increasing and particle size decreasing in to nano size.
