Abstract

In this paper two sample organic solar cells consist of Fullerene (n-type) and Copper Phtalocyanine (p-type) in high vacuum has been fabricated. The transparent electrode of foist sample has only an ITO layer, but we coated an extra layer from PEDOT:PSS on ITO layer in second sample to study the effect of this PEDOT:PSS layer on solar cell properties. Then we draw their I – V curves that short circuit current ISC and open circuit voltage VOC and thus the efficiency of the second sample is more than the first. The PEDOT:PSS layer smoothes the surface roughness of ITO and decreases the current leakage between electrodes.
